Building the Payload (Electronics) Bay
These rocket building techniques are suggestions as to how to build a dual deploy rocket. Please keep in mind that even a well built rocket can fail.
Gluing together Payload bay bulk plates or end plates
Drilling holes for the U bolt
Barrier Strip or terminal Block attachment
Barrier Strips or terminal blocks can be found at
Radio Shack http://www.radioshack.com/search?q=Terminal%20Strips%20%26%20Barrier%20Blocks
Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Barrier+strips
I have only used the ones from Radio Shack. Sometimes other strips or terminal blocks can be large in size. I do not know how the ones form Amazon are

Cutting threaded rod or all thread for payload bay
The all tread or threaded rod was 1/4 inch in diameter and can be found at a hardware store

Rocket building and flying can result in injury. Please build and fly with care. You build and fly at your own risk. High power rockets of motor size H or larger require certification from Tripoli, the National Association of Rocketry (NAR), or in Canada Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR). The membership to these organizations also provides you with liability insurance for rocket launches.
